Our Annual Get Together Event
Friday December 17, 2010.
My
dear friends and colleagues, Sisters and Brothers in the Ethnic Press and
Media, as you know on Friday, December 17th, 2010 we are
holding our traditional “ Annual Get Together Party” to celebrate the
end of the year, and to enjoy one evening all of us with friends and
families, as we are one family bound together by our love to journalism
and service to community. This is a tradition that goes decades back
during the development of our movement.
The
tickets for this event are only 30 dollars as the organization will
subsidize the rest of the expense for the night. There will be plenty of
food, any kind of drinks, wine and live entertainment for the night. A
number of guests will be with us to celebrate our humanity, our common
destiny, our hopes and struggles for better Canada. Unfortunately, only
230 tickets will be available for the members as the hall will not accept
more people.
This
is the reason that today again I am writing to ask you to please come
celebrate with us. Show your respect to your colleagues and your love to
Canada.
We
have requests for one hundred block tickets but it is my wish that in this
event we must have the greatest participation of our members and their
family.
To
this extend once more I am asking you to buy today your tickets as by next
week we will sold to groups. No tickets will be available at the door.
